After you've pinpointed the times, locations, and reasons you eat, you can begin to change your behavior patterns with well thought out substitutes that genuinely appeal to you. This is what you commit yourself to during hypnosis. You need to create new options for change; successful substitutes for negative old habits.
Set Up a New Lifestyle Plan
Once the problems are discovered and new options are established, your three objectives are: 1) Reduce your weight 2) Maintain your goal weight 3) Incorporate permanent improved food choices and lifestyle habits
The amount you eat and the way in which you use food are patterns that have been established in your subconscious mind. To change your negative eating pattern, a new pattern must be created. You need to reprogram your subconscious. This is accomplished by hypnosis and self-hypnosis (reinforcement CDs).
Reprogramming Your Mind For Success
Hypnosis for weight loss will help you think, feel, and act in positive new ways by reprogramming your subconscious with logical and realistic suggestions.

SMOKING CESSATION PROGRAMS
(Conducted at Your Facility or the Holbrook Wellness Center)
If you have decided to reduce the mob of smokers huddling outside your door during smoke breaks, coffee breaks or lunch breaks; to increase morale, and/or to decrease insurance premiums; you can provide your employees with help and support, and cut down your operating costs as well. The North Shore Smoking Cessation Program is the way to do it. Reliance on willpower often results in a disappointing attempt to stop smoking. Like moods and emotions, willpower fluctuates and it's not always consistent or effective. Psychologically, it's more agreeable to be rid of something that isn't wanted; than it is to give up something perceived as enjoyment. In motivated individuals, the program works to reduce the desire to smoke and provides healthier options.
The Program Includes:
• Two, 2-hour group hypnosis sessions scheduled approximately one week apart.
• Part I - Becoming a Non-Smoker
Utilizing cutting edge techniques in deep relaxation techniques, guided imagery, as well as instruction in the proper use of self-suggestion.
• Part II – Remaining a Non-Smoker
Reinforcement and encouragement, staying motivated, overcoming relapse with guided imagery.
Each Participant Receives:
• Two reinforcement CDs: “Remaining a Non-Smoker” and a “Relaxation Breathing”.
• A “Stop Smoking” manual, which is distributed to participants prior to the “quit” date to educate on the hazards of smoking and to dispel the myths related to guided imagery/hypnosis.
How Hypnosis Helps You Quit Smoking
Hypnotism temporarily bypasses the critical factor of the conscious mind and allows access to the subconscious mind. The behavioral changes are then experienced through suggestions. Combined with behavior modification, relaxation techniques, visualization, future pacing, and aversion therapy are powerful techniques to stop smoking. Naturally, your motivation and commitment to stop smoking are essential.
One of the most powerful attributes of the human psyche is its ability to visualize (or imagine). Hypnotism helps to develop and focus the powers of visualization. The ability to visualize one's self as a non-smoker, enjoying new health, energy and vitality, is a major asset. Visualization enables the client to “see” cigarettes as unappealing, bad tasting, foul smelling and revolting. Likewise, its possible to picture and sense clean breath, a healthy appearance, and increased sensitivity to taste. A smoker can visualize himself looking healthier, more active, in better physical condition, breathing easy with stronger, healthier lungs. Through guided imagery/hypnosis, the senses of sight, touch, smell, hearing and taste can all be enhanced and used to modify reactions to achieve goals.
New non-smokers benefit from reinforcement. The success of each participant may depend upon his/her willingness to use utilize reinforcement recordings for 21 consecutive days.

SUCCESS WITHOUT STRESS

PHASE I: AWARENESS
An inventory of personal and professional assets and liabilities is taken at the outset of the program. The purpose of this inventory process is to guide each participant through a personal exploration of behavior and attitudes which lead to the initiation and sustainment of stress.

Participation in the process of designing a personalized program of action creates a sense of involvement necessary for continued success. A battery of stress reduction techniques are available. Participants are assisted in selecting the most meaningful to them. All techniques are modified to accommodate predetermined goals established by the individual. Each participant is involved in the design of their personal plan of action.
The Five Features of the Action Phase:
• Each participant designs a personal goal oriented program
• Experience guided relaxation and creative imagery techniques
• Experience automatic physical relaxation techniques
• Identify and eliminate habits that increase stress
• Develop and apply visualization techniques to reinforce individual goals
PHASE III: ACHIEVEMENT
The philosophy of this stage is to avoid the inherent weakness of the "one-shot" programs.
This is accomplished through stress management recordings.
