Carol Denicker NGH Board Certified Hypnotist & Instructor, Adjunct Faculty Member HypnoBirthing® Educator, ASLA Certified Seminar Leader IMDHA Certified Hypnotist & Approved School Owner Usui and Karuna Reiki Master/Teacher Carol Denicker, of North Shore Hypnosis, assists her clients to achieve their goals of increased motivation, confidence and creativity; improved memory and learning ability; as well as relief of stress, fear, referred physical discomfort and freedom from negative habits like overeating, smoking, nail biting, etc. Goals are accomplished through the utilization of hypnotism, EFT (the Emotional Freedom Technique), HypnoBirthing®, and Reiki. Hypnosis programs on CD (for limited applications) are offered to those for whom an office visit would be impractical or impossible. Ms. Denicker is an NGH board certified hypnotist and instructor, adjunct faculty member, and president of the Long Island Chapter of the National Guild of Hypnotists (LI-NGH), a member of the National Federation of Hypnotists (NFH), Natural Federation of Neurolinguistic Programming, NFNLP, The Long Island Reiki Connection (LIRC), as well as an Usui & Karuna Reiki master/teacher through the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). "The services I render are held out to the public as non-therapeutic hypnotism, defined as the use of hypnosis to inculcate positive thinking and the capacity for self-hypnosis. We do not represent our services as any form of medical, behavioral or mental health care, and despite research to the contrary, by law, I may make no health benefit claims for our services. As a consulting hypnotist, I help my clients inculcate positive thinking and the capacity for self-hypnosis wherein I coach, teach, guide, instruct, or train motivated individuals to achieve their goals. entitled "Hypnotherapy: Mind Over Matter" by Mary Reinholz Carol was interviewed by Alex Lubarsky on October 11, 2005 on the My Whole Life Talks RADIOAM1240 program Carol Denicker appeared as one of panel of three experts on hypnotism along with Michael Ellner and Anna Vitale on the award winning cable TV program, "Mindlight" hosted by Anna Vitale (aired in 05, 06 and 07) In an article entitled, “Working Off Those Gifts that Go to the Hips”, by Arlene Gross in the November 16 of 06 issue of the TIMES of Northport, Carol was interviewed about how the use of hypnosis can improve motivation. More recently she is featured in an interview in the TIMES of Northport article by Arlene Gross, entitled "Reiki offers a healing path to better living - Practitioners say it complements, doesn't substitute, traditional medicine" published February 28, 2007.
